Independence Day

July 4th, 1776 - Independence Day.

Every year the remembrance of this day serves to remind us of the sacrifices in blood and tears made by those before us to ensure all in this nation the freedoms most others in this world can not enjoy.

Born in revolution, tried by conflict, preserved in war, this great nation continues to thrive and grow, continues to provide opportunities for all to realize their hopes and dreams.

That opportunity is not guaranteed by government or corporations.  It is guaranteed by the individual men and women who stand watch, prepare and walk into harms way - who fight and sacrifice to preserve our way of life.

And for those sacrifices for our freedoms all of us at FUOSV say thank you to the veterans, past and present, of our Armed Forces…the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, Coast Guard, Reservists and Natianal Guardsmen.
